According to a news I read recently, the home ownership rate in Turkey is decreasing.
On the other hand, the proportion of people living on rent is increasing.
I was experiencing this in the Beşiktaş region, where I worked as a real estate agent for the last 2-3 years.
Some property owners preferred to sell their homes and rent them out.
They used their income from house sales in interest-like channels.
One of the expectations for 2025 is that the number of people who will sell their homes out of necessity will increase.
In this period when the supply of new construction is quite slow, it is possible that the demand for houses to be sold will be at a certain level.
I think people will be extremely price sensitive when purchasing a house.
Another possible situation is that people who will buy a house will first sell their existing houses.
